The assignment aim is:

Building
Assessment 3 places you in the role of an employee of a private certifying consultancy firm. In this position you are given a building to work on that is subject to a performance solution as recognised by the Building Code of Australia.
The performance solution will generally address the non-compliances with the deemed to satisfy provisions and relevant performance requirements in the Building Code of Australia.
You will be required to review the entire report including the performance solutions using the principles in the Building Code of Australia and the International Fire Safety Engineering Guidelines as a guide in conjunction with the lecture material: provide an executive summary of the solutions and identify any amendments required to the report and solutions to ensure compliance with the Building Code of Australia and consistency with the International Fire Safety Engineering Guidelines.

The Performance Solutions should identify non-compliances with certain DTS provisions in Section C, Part D1 and D2, and Section E, of BCA2019
A Fire Safety Engineering Brief should have been developed in consultation with the Fire Engineering Brief team
That the fire engineer should have met with NSW Fire and Rescue to finalise the development of the Fire Safety Engineering Brief and the report – this should be included in the documentation
That for the purposes of this Assessment you are a certifying authority accredited by the Building Professional Board to issue a construction certificate for the building
